âą Independently design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models to meet enterprise reporting needs âą Translate complex business requirements into scalable, performant BI solutions that adhere to established governance, data modeling, and visual design standards âą Develop and maintain advanced DAX calculations, incorporating time intelligence, conditional logic, and security filters to meet nuanced analytical needs âą Optimize report and data model performance through indexing, query tuning, and best-practice modeling techniques âą Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and other governance features to ensure secure, role-based data access âą Collaborate with data engineers and governance teams to align BI assets with enterprise architecture, data quality standards, and compliance requirements âą Mentor BI Developer 1 team members, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and skill development feedback âą Document data models, report specifications, and development standards to ensure reusability, maintainability, and team alignment âą Actively contribute to BI strategy by proposing new solutions, evaluating emerging tools, and championing continuous improvement in BI delivery processes
âą Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent field âą 3-5 professional experience in BI development, with proven expertise in creating enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports âą Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with complex joins, performance tuning, and working with large datasets from cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake) âą Strong DAX skills, with the ability to design complex measures, apply time intelligence functions, and implement dynamic security (Row-Level Security) âą Experience designing and optimizing semantic models for performance, scalability, and governed self-service across a broad user base âą Proficiency with Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development âą Knowledge of modern data platform components such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake, and how they integrate with BI solutions âą Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and deliver impactful solutions with minimal oversight âą Strong attention to data accuracy, performance optimization, and visual clarity âą Experience working with healthcare data preferred, particularly within clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains, including familiarity with data types such as claims, encounters, provider rosters, patient records, and utilization metrics.
