📋 Description

• Manage daily accounting tasks and ensure the financial accuracy of specific properties • Keep property accounts current, reconciled, transparent, audit-ready, and report-ready • Post and process journal entries • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations • Assist with balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements • Review expenses and payroll records as assigned • Update financial data in databases • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports • Assist senior accountants with monthly and yearly closings • Assist with other accounting projects • Conduct annual CAM, tax, and insurance escalations • Prepare tenant packages • Provide vendor backup for monthly sales usage • Complete quarterly property snapshots and financial statements • Prepare and submit aging reports and other reports • Report to the Senior Team Lead as part of the Accounting department

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field • Proven experience as a US Accountant • Excellent organizing abilities • Great attention to detail • Strong numerical skills and analytical acumen • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices • Excellent knowledge of MS Office • Familiarity with accounting software such as Yardi is a plus but not a requirement • Accounting experience in the real estate or hospitality industry is a big plus
