📋 Description
• Provide support to the Team Submarine VIRGINIA Class New Construction Program (PMS450) • Unify submarine platform procurement activities and decisions • Provide direct support to PMS450 submarine construction and certification efforts • Coordinate adjudication of commitments, technical and programmatic issues • Develop mitigations to production challenges • Support oversight of shipbuilder activities and progress • Brief senior leaders on program progress and translate complex technical problems into executive-ready briefs
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or a related field • 7+ years in engineering or technical program analysis experience, including direct support to US Navy nuclear shipbuilding programs boat certification efforts • Familiarity with Submarine Safety (SUBSAFE), Fly-by-Wire (FBW) and Deep Submergence Systems - Scope of Certification (DSS-SOC) requirements • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Proficient in using SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to analyze and represent data and communicate to decision makers • Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
