• Use a variety of problem-solving techniques to retain customers who call to reduce or cancel their services • Connect with current customers to help renew their contracts • Follow up with subscribers to answer their questions or confirm assistance • Identify reasons for customer dissatisfaction and provide prompt resolutions • Up-sell Sparklight products to existing business customers • Collaborate with other departments to address customer questions or concerns • Take on other duties to help drive the company's purpose and values
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Associate’s degree (A.A.) preferred • Experience in telecommunications preferred but not required • Prior sales experience preferred • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Must be detail oriented and self-starter • Ability to keep calm and be patient in stressful situations • Confidence to be persistent and professionally sell services • Problem-solving skills required
