📋 Description

• Communicate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and internal sales teams to provide technically accurate guidance and solutions. • Visit offices and jobsites to assess application issues, investigate product performance, and identify business opportunities. • Support sales teams with technical expertise on codes, standards, specifications, and product applications. • Secure product specifications and approvals by working closely with designers, specifiers, and approval agencies. • Deliver technical presentations and provide recommendations using sound engineering judgment. • Review project specifications and ensure accuracy, suitability, and code compliance. • Maintain CRM records, track project activity, and communicate key opportunities to sales teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 2+ years of experience in technical sales, field engineering, construction, or a related role preferred • Previous outside sales-oriented experience with proven track record of success preferred. • Ability to travel frequently within the Southeast region and occasionally beyond • Strong understanding of building codes, construction processes, and/or passive fire protection systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems and construction-related software a plus.
