📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Prop Artists • Provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews • Ensure assets meet artistic and technical requirements of AAA partners • Maintain a Gold Standard output • Develop and optimize PBR modeling and texturing workflows • Manage task distribution within the team • Ensure deadlines are met across active projects • Collaborate with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and Project Managers • Identify potential risks and resolve production bottlenecks • Create and maintain technical briefs, style guides, and best-practice documentation for the props department • Head the props/environment art team and set a high quality bar • Capture the spirit of the original game universe in modern AAA graphics

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game art • At least 2 years in a Lead or Supervisory role • Strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level hard-surface and organic props • Portfolio examples across various art styles • Expert knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender • Expert knowledge of ZBrush • Expert knowledge of Substance Suite, including Painter and Designer • Deep understanding of Unreal Engine UE4/UE5 or proprietary AAA engines • Complete mastery of PBR workflows • Expertise in UV optimization, baking, and LOD management • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to articulate artistic feedback clearly • Proven ability to switch between different art styles and technical constraints without losing quality
