📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of six experienced engineers • Accountability for team delivery • Partner with product and stakeholders for roadmap shaping • Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions • Build a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and continuous improvement • Collaborate across Data Platform and wider engineering organisation • Manage on-call health, operational excellence, and reliability • Participate in hiring and onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing teams of senior/experienced engineers • Track record of investing in engineers' careers • Comfortable with distributed data systems, event-driven architectures, or data infrastructure at scale • Hold yourself and your team accountable for outcomes • Clear communication and trust building across functions and time zones • Experience with distributed teams • Excited about AI and LLMs potential
