📋 Description

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and DRF or similar • Model and evolve domain data using clean database schemas and relationships • Implement algorithmic and AI logic such as scoring, ranking, routing, and decision rules • Write production-ready backend code • Optimize query efficiency, indexing, caching, and response performance • Translate product ideas into technical designs and endpoints • Help define engineering patterns, conventions, and shipping processes • Own core backend features end-to-end in collaboration with a distributed team

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building backend applications with Python + Django • Solid understanding of relational data modeling and SQL • Experience with PostgreSQL • Comfortable designing and building RESTful APIs • Experience with non-trivial business logic or algorithms • Understanding of query behavior, performance optimization, indexing, and caching • Comfortable with ambiguity, moving fast, and iterating based on real-world feedback • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly • Experience in startups, side projects, or hackathons (bonus) • Background in algorithms, optimization, or data-heavy systems (bonus) • Experience with Google Cloud Platform in production (bonus) • Familiarity with Redis and PostgreSQL at scale (bonus) • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or serverless on GCP (bonus)
