📋 Description

• Oversee safety programs and initiatives within trucking operations to ensure compliance with regulations. • Implement safety policies, conduct training, and lead efforts to reduce accidents and incidents. • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures for trucking operations. • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits and inspections. • Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and report findings. • Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees, promoting safety awareness. • Track and report safety performance metrics and collaborate with management on safety initiatives. • Stay updated on industry trends and provide coaching and mentorship to employees.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in trucking safety management, with a strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations. • Proven experience in implementing safety programs, training initiatives, and risk management strategies. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions to improve safety performance. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels. • Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of safety and accountability across the organization. • Certification in safety management or related fields (e.g., CSP, SMS, or CDLP) preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
