📋 Description

• Build evaluation harnesses that gate agent releases • Create golden sets with real compliance experts • Assemble regression suites from production traces • Implement drift detection before customers notice issues • Develop a platform for trustworthy autonomous agents • Model state separately from discovery time for compliance claims • Maintain unbroken provenance from source systems to audit packages • Design failure handling that distinguishes passing, failing, and unknown states • Work across tenant isolation and enterprise identity • Address inference economics for continuous monitoring at scale • Model regulatory frameworks so additional frameworks are inexpensive • Improve agent-building practices across the organization • Set technical direction and influence engineers across Engineering, Product, Security, and CX • Challenge architecture, agent design, and engineering standards • Communicate decisions and reasoning primarily in writing

🎯 Requirements

• Built a production system where an LLM took autonomous, multi-step action against real data and users • Demonstrated that the system displaced manual work • Can explain what the system replaced, its cost, failure rate, and measurement approach • Experience treating models as untrusted subsystems • Experience with constrained outputs, independent verification, escalation thresholds, and clear model decision boundaries • Depth in at least two of: production LLM and agent systems; temporal and provenance data modeling; high-fan-out integration reliability; multi-tenant and enterprise identity; inference cost engineering; domain modeling for messy regulatory rules • 10+ years building software • At least 2 years operating at Staff scope • Experience setting technical direction followed by engineers outside the reporting line • Ability to adapt between architecture, solving difficult technical problems, and supporting hard delivery • Willingness to challenge architecture, agent design, and standards • Ability to influence without authority across Engineering, Product, Security, and CX • Strong written communication for a remote-first environment
