📋 Description

• Build, scale, ship, and monitor the platform reliably using Scala, Python, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, Qdrant, and Solr • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and complete feature work • Improve delivery processes, systems, and tools; champion technical initiatives and direction • Uphold project quality and planning by meeting deadlines, breaking down work, and ensuring testing and monitoring • Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing and feedback on pull requests and technical designs • Progressively own and deliver features, from implementation and testing through final delivery • Participate in Agile processes, technical design meetings, architecture discussions, and quarterly goal planning • Maintain systems handling hundreds of thousands of messages daily • Integrate monitoring and alerting tools and contribute to system health initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 4 years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment • 3 years experience programming in object oriented languages such as Scala or other JVM languages • 3 years experience with functional programming paradigms and ecosystems (e.g., Scala Cats, ZIO) • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication • Preferred: 3 years experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services • Preferred: 3 years experience working with SQL databases and relational databases • Preferred: Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication
