📋 Description

• Deliver new social network capabilities and new networks to customers faster • Write clean, well-tested, and reviewable code using Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, Hbase, AWS, and Kubernetes • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, complete features, and identify blockers • Own code through production deployment, including identifying and communicating risks or issues • Review peers' pull requests and design documents • Deploy and modify production systems • Interact with SQL or NoSQL data stores and messaging queues • Monitor production service health • Create and prioritize quarterly team goals • Participate in Agile retrospectives, technical design meetings, and architecture discussions • Collaborate with product managers, UX developers, and front-end engineers on MVPs • Provide first-line support for product outages and bugs • Maintain, scale, and build systems handling hundreds of thousands of messages daily • Identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks and push improvements to production • Integrate monitoring and alerting tools • Serve as point person and domain owner on projects, coordinating dependencies and writing design documents • Demonstrate ownership of the codebase from design through maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment • 2 years experience programming in object oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or C++ • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication • Preferred: 2 years experience developing Front-End applications • Preferred: 2 years experience using third party APIs and building resilient systems • Preferred: 2 years experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Preferred: Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication
