• Communicating with management daily. • Creditors and Debtors Management, other duties/tasks as required. • Reviewing cash flow weekly. • Reviewing and updating Vendor card files each quarter to ensure payment terms and credit limits are correct. • Ensure all documentation is attached to jobs and checks are done before invoicing. • Provide the Administration & Inductions personnel with assistance with company training as required. • Provide administration assistance where required and ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly. • Manage and update asset register as required. • Contributing to weekly, monthly & quarterly meetings • Assisting team to update systems and processes if required.
• Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, with senior-level expertise is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation rules, including AP/AR processes, invoicing, reconciliations, and cash flow fundamentals. • Ability to handle bookkeeping, invoicing, data entry, supplier follow-ups, and coordination with field supervisors for daily work records and purchase order processing. • Solid computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with strong email, phone, and in-person communication skills. • Experience using accounting software such as Xero; familiarity with Jim2, Cin7, or similar platforms is a plus. • Must have a strong grasp of core accounting principles—ability to adapt to new systems is more important than specific software experience. • Vocational or college-level coursework in accounting, business, or a related field is ideal; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered. • A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
