📋 Description

• Set-up and Location: WFH • Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM AEDT | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM PHT • This position involves general responsibility for the support, design and development of new and existing products. • The Draftsman/Mechanical Engineer is involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle and all details related to assigned projects. • Manage own workflow across time zones, ensuring timely responses and clear communication

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience • Detail drafting of mechanical components and assemblies • Generate, update, and maintain DraftSight 2D files and SolidWorks models/assemblies/parts/drawings • Mechanical system design and development (pumps, hydraulic flow systems, piping, structural) • Perform testing simulations and troubleshooting of designs using virtual tools • Preparation of accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and MRP-related documents • Specification of equipment and materials to suit project requirements • Designing mechanical components and systems independently • Preparation of complete drawing packs for review and approval • Producing and maintaining 3D models and 2D drawings to Australian standards using SolidWorks and DraftSight • Support projects/products transitioning into production via detailed documentation and remote guidance
