📋 Description

• Handle inbound and outbound calls via Intermedia Unite / UNITE VoIP • Provide patient assistance and manage clinic communications, especially for elderly Medicare beneficiaries • Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and calendar management in AthenaHealth EMR • Conduct Verification of Benefits before visits for standard Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial plans • Apply familiarity with Family Medicine CPT/ICD-10 codes and visit types for appointment routing and patient intake • Provide uninterrupted coverage during all practice operating hours

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience using AthenaHealth in a U.S. clinical setting • At least 2–3 years of experience as a remote Medical Virtual Assistant supporting a U.S. outpatient clinic • Practical familiarity with Family Medicine procedures, CPT codes, and verification of benefits procedures • Ability to commit fully to working all hours that the clinic is open • Full-time contractor position, 40 hours per week • Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm EST
