• Provides planning and evaluation consultation and support to the organization to enhance services. • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with persons supported and families, volunteers, and team members within all St.Amant programs and services. • Conducts literature reviews and jurisdictional scans, and synthesizes information. • Supports the use of best available evidence for decision making. • Works with stakeholders to plan and conduct evaluations of services. • Facilitates implementation of evaluation plans. • Responsible for the management of data collection and analysis. • Identifies any issues and solves problems. • Meets regularly with stakeholders to discuss progress, issues and status, and establish quality data collection practices. • Develops accessible products (e.g., written reports, presentations, infographics) to communicate findings and recommendations in plain language. • Facilitates planning sessions and stakeholders engagement activities. • Coordinates training and access to resources. • Networks with organizations and communities to enhance services. • Acts as liaison, communicates and maintains links between the Evaluation Office and key partners. • Provides supervision and mentorship to student evaluators through practicum placements.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree (Master's preferred) in Health, Social Sciences, Community Development, Evaluation, Program Design or a related discipline • Training in evaluation and research design with a comprehension of evaluation best practices • Proficient in program evaluation processes and methods • At least five (5) years working with community organizations • Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting • Previous experience as a project manager • Experience working with consumers, staff, families and the public and in an effective and professional manner • Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods required • Experience with literature searches and retrieval required • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working collaboratively with Indigenous People and communities in research, evaluation, program development, or community engagement, with demonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, perspectives, and culturally safe, respectful relationship-building practices • Experience using software tools and applications including up-to-date versions of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), reference management tools, communication and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams, and online survey software • Skilled in the use and operation of personal computers and computer networks, printers, scanners, photocopiers and other office equipment • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as a collaborative team player in a team environment • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to generate ideas to improve work procedures and contribute to an environment that fosters growth, development and innovation • Superb interpersonal ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with humility and self-awareness • Ability and willingness to give and receive honest, balanced feedback • Demonstrates competence and character that inspires trust • Acts with integrity and respect in all interactions • Values and commitment to continuous self-growth and professional learning • Demonstrates confidential and ethical behaviour in the performance of all duties • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
