• Lead States United’s Communications Department • Develop, manage and implement communications strategy • Oversee projects, digital assets, and media outreach • Provide strategic guidance and oversee communications materials • Maintain relationships with key reporters and stakeholders • Serve as spokesperson for States United • Manage communications staff and consultants
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in communications • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experienced project manager • Experience working in state and/or federal government or at a non-profit organization • Proven ability to apply sound judgment • Demonstrated excellence in leadership and organization
