📋 Description

• Design, deploy, operate, and support on-premises OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms using a GitOps approach. • Define and maintain ArgoCD architecture, including high availability, cluster and environment organization, and repository strategy. • Implement and administer ApplicationSets, projects, RBAC, SSO, and synchronization policies, including self-heal, prune, and sync waves. • Structure and maintain Helm charts, Kustomize overlays, and environment-specific configuration standards, reducing duplication and drift. • Operate and automate the platform’s underlying components, such as networking, load balancing, storage, upgrades, backup, and recovery. • Investigate and resolve complex incidents, such as OutOfSync or Degraded applications, stalled synchronizations, resource conflicts, and manual changes (drift). • Establish Git-based change governance through pull requests, approvals, branch protection, and audit trails. • Apply security and compliance controls, such as OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno policies, manifest validation, image scanning, SAST, and artifact signing. • Monitor the health of ArgoCD, clusters, and applications; configure metrics, dashboards, alerts, and notifications. • Automate operational and infrastructure tasks and track the resulting improvements. • Participate in technical decisions, justify choices, and communicate solution risks, limitations, and alternatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. • Hands-on operational experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes in an on-premises environment. • Experience serving as a technical reference or solution architect, with direct involvement in the platform—not merely as an indirect user or pipeline contributor. • Experience across the full lifecycle: architectural decisions, deployment, support, and resolution of complex issues. • Ability to explain decisions, trade-offs, architectural patterns, security, automation, and operations using concrete examples. • GitOps: ArgoCD, ApplicationSets, Helm, and Kustomize. • Management of the deployment lifecycle and GitOps-based infrastructure governance. • Operation, standardization, troubleshooting, and automation of platform infrastructure, in addition to delivery pipelines. • Knowledge of DevSecOps, observability, integrations, and security in enterprise environments. • Experience with bare-metal infrastructure, VMware, OpenShift, or Rancher. • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and cluster and platform component upgrades/rollbacks. • Infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Cluster API.
