📋 Description

• Monitor threats, anomalies, and policy violations across cloud and application environments using AI-powered security tooling • Respond to, resolve, or escalate security incidents • Investigate security violations and provide postmortem analysis with preventative measures • Model attack scenarios, identify exposure patterns, and prioritize remediation based on risk • Assess, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions for public and private clouds, SaaS applications, and AWS platforms • Implement security as code using cloud services and CI/CD components • Develop cloud, container, and application security standards and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines • Customize cloud compliance tools and monitor compliance drift and exceptions • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on Infrastructure as Code, cloud design patterns, and CI/CD security controls • Implement security architecture and controls across AWS and multi-cloud environments • Design resilient security architectures against network-based, system-level, and application-layer attacks • Maintain knowledge and application of IDS/IPS, IAM, certificate management, identity federation, authentication, and authorization standards • Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and controls • Drive compliance with information security policies and improve security posture through tooling and automation

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or equivalent • Significant technical experience in cloud computing technologies and security automation, primarily AWS • Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate security tasks, accelerate threat detection, or improve incident response • Ability to implement custom solutions or scripts for automated problem-solving • Experience in DevOps environments and working with developers through CI/CD processes • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience developing, deploying, and automating security solutions in enterprise cloud environments • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web servers, and database security • Understanding of SAML, OIDC, and OAuth • Bilingual in Spanish and English • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience • Preferred: experience with AI-powered security platforms, cybersecurity tools, vulnerability management programs, and relevant certifications including CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or CISA • MBA or advanced degree preferred
