📋 Description

• Own attorney development from the ground up • Build a firm-wide feedback cadence beyond annual reviews • Manage relationships with partners and firm leadership • Develop programs and touchpoints that create a sense of community for associates • Design and manage learning and development programs end-to-end using adult learning theory • Coach associates, resolve performance concerns, and support their development as a people manager • Analyze utilization and performance data to identify under- or mis-utilized associates and drive action • Contribute to talent acquisition efforts and future attorney-team growth programs • Apply working knowledge of US employment law to development and performance matters • Represent attorney development as an influential function within the firm • Work as part of the People Team in close collaboration with firm leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Legal or attorney-development background; ideally experience inside a law firm or legal tech environment • Strong L&D program design skills grounded in adult learning theory • Real coaching and mentoring experience; ideally prior people-management experience • Working knowledge of US employment law • Comfort pulling together utilization and performance data • Excellent written and verbal English communication • Availability in the Americas time zone, ideally Eastern Time, with real overlap with the team and supported attorneys • Resilient, direct, transparent temperament and comfort with ambiguity • AI-forward and tech-savvy • Ability to exercise judgment in ambiguous situations, identify gaps, prioritize, and influence stakeholders
