📋 Description
• Lead computationally focused scientific research projects • Develop new computational methods • Identify, process, organize, interpret, review, and report relevant data • Direct data collection • Present research to colleagues • Draft complex manuscripts • Train and oversee the work of others
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or related field • 7+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with Master's or 2+ years with PhD) • Strong background in computational chemistry • Experience with molecular dynamics simulations, molecular docking, pharmacophore modeling, quantitative structure activity relationship modeling, and chemical informatics • Proficiency in scientific computing languages (R, Python) • Experience with open-source programming tools (Knime, RDKit, ChemProp)
