📋 Description

• Work directly with the Head of Operations to drive initiatives forward • Identify operational issues, make the case for improvements, and implement solutions • Manage or contribute across people operations, finance operations, tooling, processes, and costs • Handle contracts, onboarding, policies, and day-to-day people operations • Manage invoicing, expenses, payroll inputs, and cashflow processes • Find and eliminate manual, slow, and duplicated work • Build AI-assisted tools and automations • Own SaaS, AI, and cloud billing; identify waste and reduce costs • Develop processes, automations, and savings that become part of the company's operating model

🎯 Requirements

• Experience level open to more junior and more senior candidates • Ability to own ambiguity and take initiative • Ability to deliver practical solutions and improve them iteratively • Ability to read contracts • Ability to build spreadsheet models • Ability to automate workflows • Ability to negotiate renewals • Numeracy and willingness to work with finance operations; no formal finance knowledge required • Experience using AI tools to work faster • Operational judgement, reliability, and follow-through • Applicants must have the legal right to work in South Africa, either without restrictions or through a visa
