📋 Description

• Lead and support a cross-functional Foundations & Enablement engineering team • Balance the team's technical roadmap with prioritized requests from multiple product teams • Communicate roadmap and prioritization trade-offs transparently • Maintain and evolve engineering-wide security, tooling, CI/CD, and developer-experience standards • Partner with the Infrastructure team on shared platform concerns • Mentor and guide team members and promote active coaching • Support technical decisions and ensure effective processes and delivery • Establish delivery estimates, monitor progress, overcome obstacles, and resolve blockers • Own recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes • Facilitate one-on-one meetings, goal setting, performance evaluation, and continuous feedback • Foster documentation, knowledge sharing, and open communication across engineering • Promote empathy, openness, and a positive workplace culture • Improve processes in a remote-first, globally distributed environment

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in advanced software development, including 2+ years of engineering leadership • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Comfortable operating across both frontend and backend engineering • Hands-on experience with scalability, reliability, observability, and security principles • Experience owning platform, DevOps, security, or developer-tooling work • Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, best practices, and problem-solving • Ability to guide senior and staff engineers • Familiarity with testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines • Working knowledge of incident response practices • Proven ability to lead teams in execution, resolve blockers, and ensure delivery commitments are met • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills • Experience negotiating priorities across multiple teams • Confidence, attention to detail, and high motivation • AI literacy and ability to leverage AI tools with sound judgment and critical thinking
