âą Own the multi-year vision, roadmap, and performance for a key product area âą Decide product priorities and explain roadmap decisions âą Present worthwhile net-new product bets to the executive team âą Set the research agenda, commission discovery work, and identify market shifts âą Treat documentation, error messages, and the composable/MACH integration ecosystem as part of the product âą Build company-level business cases for initiatives such as new pricing tiers or markets âą Set company-wide release governance standards âą Keep executives, key customers, and industry analysts informed as priorities change âą Lead cross-team product culture and arbitrate organization-wide conflicts and competing priorities âą Establish metrics and analytics standards and report on product-area performance âą Collaborate with Design and Engineering from research through launch âą Shape platform-level design philosophy and component/API conventions âą Set product specification and writing standards and create executive-level internal documentation âą Represent the product narrative through keynotes and analyst briefings âą Drive category-defining thought leadership âą Mentor product managers across the product team
âą A degree in engineering, product, or something related âą 8+ years in product management, including at least 3 years on technical, developer-facing, or platform products âą Hands-on experience with developer tools or platform products âą Experience owning a whole product area, not single features âą Demonstrated technical fluency, including reading API documentation, conducting discovery interviews with senior engineers, and writing respected PRDs âą Track record of setting a multi-year vision and delivering measurable shipped results âą Experience with at least one company-level bet, such as a new market or pricing tier âą Understanding of SaaS businesses, customers, partners, and the wider B2B world âą Strong commercial sense and ability to connect product decisions to revenue, retention, and cost âą Strong writing and speaking skills, including keynote and analyst briefing settings âą Technical fluency in platform architecture decisions âą Hands-on prototyping mindset âą Experience in CMS, content infrastructure, or DXP is a strong plus
