📋 Description

• Own a major sports client's product rollout and AI-enabled services • Configure, onboard, test and roll out client products and integrations from brief to live • Continue owning and improving client products after launch • Build and run AI-powered automations, tools and workflows • Monitor AI services, validate inputs and outputs, and identify issues before clients do • Reproduce issues by checking configuration, data and expected behaviour • Provide Engineering with clear, actionable problems • Decide product-area fixes and work directly with engineers to ship them • Communicate progress and constraints clearly to the client • Turn client learnings into changes for Product and Engineering • Direct one or two junior teammates • Create tools and automation to improve future delivery cycles

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building something with AI that is in real use, such as an automation, agentic step in a pipeline, or tool people rely on; not chatbot use • Experience taking a client-facing product or integration from brief to live and running it after launch • Technical background in support, integrations, QA, development or similar • Comfortable with APIs, SDKs, configuration and data without needing to be an engineer • Experience working where the process did not exist yet, such as a startup, scale-up, fast-moving agency, or own venture • Ability to make good calls with incomplete information and make progress independently • Clear and direct communication with clients and technical teams • Nice to have: background in sport, media, live events or ad-tech • Nice to have: experience with SaaS or developer-facing products, including SDKs, CMS and analytics • Legal right to work in South Africa without restrictions or right to work through a visa
