Our team is made up of 30+ researchers and strategists with diverse backgrounds across anthropology, business consultancy, data science, digital product development, and design • We specialise in the interactions between people and technology, combining approaches from social and data science to give companies a foundational understanding of the world, their customers and their organisations • Our clients include some of the world’s most exciting tech-led businesses, such as Apple, Google, Meta and Spotify • About the Data Science Freelancer role: we’re looking for experienced Data Science Freelancers to work with our project teams at a time of significant growth • As a Freelancer working with Stripe Partners, you will have: Experience as a data scientist, with a clear record of growing responsibilities across projects requiring sophisticated data analysis • Demonstrable ability to translate analysis into insights that are compelling and that clients understand clearly • Experienced in data visualisation methods and tools • The ability to work_constructively with internal teams and clients to get great results in situations of ambiguity • We are always looking for new people to have on our roster of freelancers; the position will remain open for the foreseeable future • We’ll assess applications on a rolling weekly basis. 🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a data scientist, with a clear record of growing responsibilities across projects requiring sophisticated data analysis • Demonstrable ability to make good judgements about what sort of analysis to conduct to solve specific problems • Excellent knowledge of statistics, and experience in applying multiple types of data science methods in solving problems for organisations • Exceptional coding skills: well-versed in R or Python • Expertise in a specific specialism eg. NLP, big data, machine learning, conjoint analysis, segmentation or willingness to pay studies • Exceptional analytical skills. A clear thinker you will be able to contribute meaningfully to projects that end up delivering great results to our blue-chip client base • Demonstrable ability to translate analysis into insights that are compelling and that clients understand clearly • Experienced in data visualisation methods and tools - we aim to do high-quality, rigorous work and then present this in ways that make insights compelling • The ability to work constructively with internal teams and clients to get great results in situations of ambiguity • Desirable • A background in consulting • A good understanding of technology and the tech sector
