StrokeDx provides portable, rapid, and non-invasive stroke detection and imaging tools.
• Work alongside communities - building relationships, identifying need, and supporting people to better understand and manage their stroke risk • Collaborate with people affected by stroke, community groups, health providers and other key stakeholders, to strengthen community resilience and wellbeing • Provide advice, guidance and support to help connect people to the right information and resources • Amplify local capability and maximise the impact of Stroke Aotearoa’s mahi across the region
• Experience working in the health, community, rehabilitation, or disability sectors • Communicate with empathy and engage effectively across all age groups and stakeholders • Experience working with vulnerable and diverse communities • Resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to making a difference for New Zealanders • Knowledge of the effects of stroke and strategies for day-to-day management • Understanding of responsibilities to Te Tiriti o Waitangi • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Competent using the Microsoft Suite of products (specifically MSWord, TEAMS and PowerPoint) • Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team • Able to travel regionally with some nights away from home • Must have a full clean driver’s licence and be currently eligible to work within New Zealand
