📋 Description

• Train and assist STRYDE’s customers in using STRYDE systems to plan, manage, and monitor field surveys • Help customers set up and operate land seismic acquisition equipment • Assist customers with equipment tests and confirm products are working within specification • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing in-field and remote support to clients • Test and qualify new hardware and software technology before field deployment • Design and execute field tests for new technology • Gather ideas for future product improvements and functionality from customers • Deliver product demonstrations and field trials to potential customers • Travel frequently to field sites for extended periods • Represent STRYDE as an equipment supplier to the onshore seismic industry

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering, Geophysics, or IT-based qualification preferred • 3+ years' experience in land seismic crew technical support or instrumentation support role • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English • Extensive experience of onshore seismic acquisition • Strong expertise in setting up and operating land seismic recording equipment, preferably nodal • Extensive expertise in using central system software packages • Experience with onshore source technology, including vibroseis, explosive, impulsive source, and controllers • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues to find the root cause • Ability to provide training to seismic acquisition staff • Able to work independently with minimal supervision or support from the office • Willing to travel often, sometimes with very short notice • Competent and field-experienced Instrument Support Technician
