📋 Description

• Build an automated end-to-end test suite for critical journeys including lead capture to enrolment, quick-apply, offer/CAS/visa stages, commission calculation, and agent onboarding • Create automated permission checks for staff, agent, and admin roles • Integrate the test suite into CI/CD with the DevOps engineer • Design regression coverage for configuration changes to checklists, pipelines, and rate cards • Perform exploratory and edge-case testing for exception flows such as drop-out with CAS, refunds, and invalid-contact sequences • Triage bugs with engineers • Establish lightweight QA processes, including test plans, bug severity scheme, and release sign-off criteria

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years testing web applications • At least one substantial automated suite built, not just maintained, in Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills • Experience with complex, workflow-heavy systems where state and permissions matter • Clear written communication • Nice to have: API testing (Postman, REST clients) • Nice to have: performance or load testing basics • Nice to have: experience with data-sensitive platforms and UK and Europe GDPR awareness • Nice to have: edtech or marketplace background • Ability to work the full UK day, 10:30–19:00 UK time
