📋 Description

• Oversight of the project human resources, including the designing and implementing of efficient hiring, appointment and recruitment process across the project portfolios. • Support preparation of cost-sharing and other funding agreements, monitor their implementation and reporting requirements. • Analyse the project portfolio from the risk management point of view and propose appropriate mitigation strategies/steps. • Management of financial resources of the projects through planning, guiding, monitoring and controlling of the resources in accordance with the PMO rules and regulations. • Prepare strategic materials, briefs and/or position papers on the project resources status. • Lead the formulation and continuous refinement of the operational policies and procedures of the PMO. • Advise the Project Manager on policy issues relating to resources and management, particularly those affecting the PMO’s delivery. • Actively seek and promote innovative methodologies and lead the development of supporting policies/tools to encourage learning and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in results-based project implementation and management. • Experience in managing teams and promoting their capacity development. • Prior experience with international development and/or non-profit organizations, and/or working in a start-up business environment, is required. • Excellent verbal and written communications, networking, and presentation skills (in English). • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands in order to meet deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English is essential for this position.
