📋 Description

• Handle end-to-end full-stack task execution across back-end logic and front-end user interfaces • Implement UI updates such as booking form fields • Build complex business features such as pricing API logic and route management • Assist in building and exposing secure API endpoints for driver mobile apps via platforms like Draftbit • Write, maintain, and push fully unit-tested code independently • Navigate and continuously optimize the established four-year-old codebase • Work within the existing CI/CD pipeline • Collaborate directly with the lead developer to increase development velocity, refactor key features, and prepare infrastructure for mobile integrations

🎯 Requirements

• Solid, hands-on experience building and maintaining applications with Ruby on Rails • Proficiency with Stimulus JS and vanilla JavaScript • Proven experience connecting third-party services, specifically Google Maps APIs and OpenAI endpoints • Experience managing custom RESTful APIs • Familiarity with Heroku and AWS • Experience working inside established CI/CD pipelines • Comfortable using Notion for async communication, documentation, and task management • Strong mid-level capability • Ability to take ownership of tasks and push production-ready code with minimal supervision • Juniors excluded due to team bandwidth • Comfortable working within existing multi-contributor codebases • Clear verbal and written English communication • Must offer 5 to 6 hours of overlap with European time zones (UK/Netherlands)
