📋 Description

• Analyze, design, build, test, and implement Epic Ambulatory configuration changes • Standardize visit documentation, clinical workflows, and operational policies across ambulatory clinics • Align Ambulatory workflows with scheduling modernization (MyChart + Cadence dependencies) • Support expanded visit modes (e.g., telehealth, hybrid visits) with streamlined workflows • Improve provider efficiency and care team coordination through workflow automation and access optimization • Develop test scripts, support UAT and readiness activities for incremental releases • Troubleshoot production issues and facilitate enhancements aligned to governance decisions • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to refine operational workflows and reduce clinician burden

🎯 Requirements

• Epic Ambulatory certification • 3+ years hands-on Epic Ambulatory build/optimization experience in a healthcare delivery system • Experience designing enterprise ambulatory visit workflows that support virtual care, in-person, return/new logic, etc. • Strong configuration skills in: Visit types, department workflows, navigators, smartforms, LPG, chart review, encounter workflows • Telehealth, in-basket, provider schedules, and clinical documentation • Understanding of how Ambulatory workflows intersect with: Cadence scheduling architecture (visit types, slot types, restrictions) • MyChart scheduling flows • Template impacts on provider availability • Telehealth and visit mode configuration • Direct scheduling safety checks • SmartSets/SmartTexts used in visit intake that affect scheduling or patient prep.
