• Support the US Tax Director with the direct or indirect tax requests pertaining Germany, Poland, and US, including US GAAP income tax matters, tax complications due to new guidance, tax forecasts, intercompany transaction, etc. • Responsible for preparing and/or review of VAT returns in Poland and or Germany, including coordinating and resolving relevant tax matters • Responsible for coordinating with external firm and review of the German income tax returns • Ensuring compliance and participating in the further development of tax compliance and SOX processes in the tax area • Participation in the implementation of special projects, e.g., cross-border projects in the area of transfer pricing, restructuring, etc. • Responsible for researching new tax guidance, and explain to management relevant implications and reporting requirements (if any) • Supporting the Group Accounting departments in Poland or Germany with various tasks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, in an international company • In-depth knowledge of Polish tax law and experience with tax audits • Proficient in MS Excel and financial systems • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Fluent English and Polish: Proficiency in English is crucial for effective global communication and collaboration
