• Lead and inspire a remote team of experienced client-facing accountants to deliver outsourced transactional and full-cycle accounting services. • Utilize client service management expertise and accounting knowledge to drive a delightful client experience. • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients and demonstrate thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices. • Oversee client onboarding for assigned engagements according to defined process and implement technology toolbox to drive efficiency. • Serve as a resource for assigned team members for guidance and resolution of client issues; monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback. • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by understanding business needs and proactively providing solutions. • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Managing Director on hiring; orient, train, and coach newly assigned accountants. • Balance workflow aligning client needs with accountants’ expertise and capacity; maintain profit margins and review accountants’ work for quality. • Schedule and lead annual performance reviews and ensure adherence to protocols, timeliness, and client budgets.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. • 10 Years of related accounting experience with 4 years of hands-on management experience including hiring, training and developing a highly engaged service-oriented team. • Capacity and commitment to work up to Full-Time (32-40) hours a week, Monday through Friday, during traditional daytime business hours supporting clients and team members. • Proven ability to attract, build and retain a high-performance team. • Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices. • Commitment to consistently follow established Supporting Strategies policies and procedures while holding team members accountable to do the same. • Confidence in learning and embracing new technology including QuickBooks (Enterprise and Online), Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubDoc and others. • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing. • Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.
