📋 Description

• Own and architect the GCP data environment, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage, partnering with IT on security and access • Write and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines pulling data from Toggl, Rippling, Xero, and Salesforce into BigQuery • Own the full Tableau dashboard portfolio, including connections, SQL, refresh schedules, quality control, documentation, and bug resolution • Build dashboards for executive, director, and operational audiences • Own data integrity across analytics layers and diagnose whether issues are in pipelines, dashboards, or source systems • Resolve dashboard breaks and pipeline failures as the first point of contact • Partner with Business Operations, Finance, People and Talent, Sales, and IT to translate business needs into data solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record owning a data or reporting platform end to end with minimal oversight • 8 or more years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a hybrid of these • 3 or more years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage • Strong Python development experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines • Advanced SQL skills with experience in cloud data warehouses • Experience designing and building Tableau dashboards from the ground up • Ability to independently diagnose data problems across pipeline, dashboard, and source system layers • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Active day-to-day use of AI engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex • English proficiency at B2 level or above • Preferred: professional services or project-based organization background • Preferred: experience at organizations with 100 to 500 employees • Preferred: Azure experience • Preferred: familiarity with dbt or dimensional modeling • Preferred: experience supporting executive and director-level reporting • Cvs must be submitted in English
