📋 Description
• Supervises all Billing personnel on functions necessary for timely daily processing of current billing and secondary charges. • Responsible to ensure that all charges for all locations are accurately posted in a timely manner, as well as all system edits are corrected and billed out in a timely manner. • Reviews outstanding charges routinely and communicates to appropriate facility and/or staff members in order to complete the billing process. • Audits, corrects, and retrains staff as needed to ensure that all billers are up-to-date on the medical billing and payer guidelines. • Responsible for evaluating the performance of the Billing Department staff members.
🎯 Requirements
• Two years management experience preferred • Two years experience in coding and billing claims • Coding Certificate required • Detail orientated with excellent organizational and communication skills
