📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain standardized base container images that service teams can extend • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines to make them reliable, fast, and observable • Establish best practices for Docker image layering and optimization • Dependency management • Build caching and reproducibility • Partner with security teams to integrate vulnerability scanning into CI/CD • Reduce blast radius and remediation time for CVEs • Improve developer experience by reducing friction in builds and deployments • Creating clear documentation and golden paths • Act as a multiplier for engineering teams by enabling them to ship safely and confidently • Influence architecture and tooling decisions across the platform

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Platform Engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) • AWS (IAM, ECR, EC2, networking fundamentals) • Docker and container image design • Deep experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) • Experience standardizing platforms across multiple teams or services • Solid understanding of Supply chain security • Vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Trivy, Snyk, Grype, Clair) • SBOMs and dependency management • Ability to balance technical depth with organizational influence • Strong communication skills and comfort working across teams
