📋 Description

• Coding with a clinical perspective: You capture diagnoses and procedures in accordance with Swiss coding guidelines (ICD-10, CHOP) for a broad client base and ensure an accurate representation of the course of treatment. • Quality & responsibility: You critically review medical records, identify inconsistencies, and actively contribute to the quality assurance of coding and billing. • Staying current: You keep up to date with changes in coding guidelines and clinical developments and share your knowledge with the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Medical background required: You are a physician, a certified nurse (dipl. Pflegefachperson), or have completed training in a related medical profession. • Clinical experience is essential: Ideally gained in everyday clinical practice, preferably in the operating room or intensive care unit. • Coding experience: You have several years of experience in medical coding, ideally within the Swiss healthcare system. • Applicants without existing coding experience cannot be considered. • Analytical thinking: You understand medical contexts, think in a structured way, and work with attention to detail. • Self-responsibility: You appreciate working independently from home—organized, reliable, and efficient. • Flexibility: You enjoy the challenge of coding for changing clients in different contexts, specialties, and systems. • Team orientation: Even in a virtual environment, you actively communicate with colleagues and contribute to a strong team culture.
