📋 Description

• Build and lead the global accounting foundation • Own accuracy of financial reporting and internal controls • Prepare and lead annual external audits • Ensure compliance with healthcare related financial regulations • Design and improve scalable accounting workflows • Manage US and international tax compliance • Lead and coach a geographically distributed Accounting team • Support corporate structuring and M&A integration activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred. • 10+ years progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years leading teams. • Experience at a rapidly scaling startup/scale-up. • Strong technical accounting background (US GAAP, ASC 606, multi-country consolidation). • Proven success leading financial audits and implementing internal controls. • Experience from a public accounting firm is a plus. • Hands-on experience across AP, AR, payroll, revenue operations, tax, and reporting (including complex intercompany setups). • Experience operating across multiple countries/entities (US + European countries preferred). • Demonstrated success improving systems, processes, and close timelines. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic high-growth environment with evolving priorities. • IPO or SOX readiness involvement.
