Provide technical expertise that helps organizations in Japan modernize their data security strategies by adopting our cutting-edge platform. • You'll work directly with CISOs, security architects, and data protection leaders in Japan to solve their business issues and desired outcomes, then help implement Symmetry's capabilities and integrated value proposition. • You'll drive incremental revenue through large, complex sales opportunities while delivering, managing, and running proof of values (PoVs) and technical demonstrations that showcase how Symmetry's platform mitigates risk and strengthens compliance. • As the technical point of contact, you'll manage internal resources via cross-functional communication, support the sales team, engage with the growing Symmetry Japanese partner channel, and represent the company at marketing events. • This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong relationship-building skills to help organizations modernize their data security strategies.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales or sales engineering, preferably in the data security or technology industry • Demonstrated success in supporting enterprise data security solutions sales and achieving technical win rates • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with technical decision-makers at all levels within Japanese organizations • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and architect effective technical solutions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to present and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate security concepts related to data protection solutions • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of data security architectures • Familiarity with Japanese data privacy regulations and compliance requirements • Willingness to travel throughout Japan to meet with clients and attend industry events
