📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built with Java 7 and Java 8 • Support and modernize legacy systems based on monolithic architecture • Perform technical analysis, identify technical debt, and define modernization strategies • Develop new applications and services using Java 21 and modern frameworks from the Java ecosystem • Design and implement solutions based on microservices and hexagonal architecture • Define and implement secure, scalable, and resilient REST APIs • Participate in decomposing monoliths into distributed architectures • Apply Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices • Contribute to code reviews, development standards, and engineering best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile processes • Support the evolution of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines • Participate in performance analysis, observability, and troubleshooting in production environments

🎯 Requirements

• Java 7 and/or Java 8 • Struts framework • JSP, Servlets, and related libraries • Enterprise monolithic applications • Integrations via SOAP and legacy services • Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) • Java 17 or later, preferably Java 21 • Spring Boot • Microservices • Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters) • REST APIs • Messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies) • Docker containers • Kubernetes/OpenShift • Observability and monitoring • Software engineering • Advanced knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID, and Design Patterns • Unit and integration testing • Git • CI/CD • Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) • Experience with application modernization programs • Experience migrating Struts applications to Spring Boot • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins • Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments • A completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred • A postgraduate degree, MBA, or specialization is preferred • Certifications related to Java, Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or Software Architecture are a plus
