📋 Description
• Execute automated and manual test cases against applications deployed in an AWS cloud environment and analyze results • Log and document bugs and similar test failures in the tracking system • Review and analyze software requirement and design specifications • Evaluate product code according to specifications • Assist with troubleshooting issues • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle • Support security testing, hardening, and assessments to meet strict compliance and operational security requirements
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of software testing/QA experience • Experience in project management and QA methodology • Familiarity with modern agile software development principles, practices, methods, and tools • Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) and issue tracking software (preferably Jira) • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and explain errors • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Must be able to pass a full background investigation and obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility • Experience working with AWS services or AWS cloud certification(s) are a plus • Familiarity with GIS and similar scientific data and applications • Industry certifications such as AWS certifications, CCSP, Cloud+, Security+, and GCLD
