📋 Description

• Build and scale our modern data platform • Work closely under the guidance of our Central Platform Team • Build our Databricks engineering framework • Establish reusable development patterns • Advance our core codebase

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer working with Databricks • Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python within the Databricks ecosystem • Hands-on experience with modern IDEs (VS Code) and version control workflows (Git/GitHub) • Familiarity or eager enthusiasm for using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for code) • Experience implementing design patterns, reusable frameworks, and data pipeline modularization • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, platform-guided environment • Nice to Have: Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
