📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented applications using Java and JavaScript • Access and work with data stored in a Data Lake • Create, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries across different database technologies • Develop and maintain integrations with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases • Work with PL/SQL procedures, packages, and database objects where required • Participate in CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and related tools • Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices, particularly with Spring Boot • Collaborate with developers, data specialists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders • Investigate production or integration issues and propose sustainable technical solutions • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain technical and functional documentation in Jira and Confluence • Contribute ideas that improve system reliability, delivery efficiency, and solution quality

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of professional software development experience • Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and practical development experience • Hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript • Practical knowledge of SQL, including the ability to create, analyse, and optimise queries • Experience working with more than one relational database technology • Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable database environments • Experience with version control and CI/CD practices • Practical exposure to Git and automated delivery pipelines • Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and Kubernetes • Ability to work autonomously on defined technical problems and explain personal technical decisions • Professional English level required for a European or multicultural project environment • Nice to have: AWS S3 or comparable object-storage services • Nice to have: Elasticsearch • Nice to have: Angular and TypeScript development • Nice to have: Microservices with Spring Boot • Nice to have: OpenShift • Nice to have: Kafka or another event-streaming platform • Nice to have: DevOps and cloud-native operating models • Nice to have: Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies • Nice to have: Data Lake architectures or large-scale data platforms • Nice to have: Transactional Regulatory Reporting or related banking domain
