• Assist in the monthly close process to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations • Assist with preparation for the year-end audit and schedule requests of external auditors • Assist with the establishment, documentation, and continuous improvement of all financial processes, workflows, and forms • Guides accounting staff and consultants by coordinating activities and answering questions • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information for investors, lenders, and partners.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (required) • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Multifamily Property Management Accounting (required) • Experience in Yardi or affordable housing programs (required) • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with strong emphasis on Excel) • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Ability to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills
