📋 Description

• Design and architect global data center and warehouse fabric solutions using spine-leaf switching, VXLAN/EVPN overlays, and multi-tenant segmentation • Serve as the global escalation point for complex fabric issues, lead resolutions, and document fixes as standards • Define and maintain global fabric design standards, including spine-leaf templates, VXLAN/EVPN policy, segmentation models, and platform selection guidance • Evaluate and recommend platform direction across Arista, Cisco ACI, and NSX-T • Review fabric designs for data center builds, warehouse deployments, and site refresh projects across all regions • Partner with the Routing, Switching & SD-WAN Solutions Engineer to align fabric and edge designs • Collaborate with EMEA, Americas, APJ, and India Solutions Hub regional teams • Define fabric telemetry, health checks, and alerting requirements with the NOC • Lead technical engagement for fabric requirements related to acquisitions, site build-outs, and warehouse expansions • Collaborate directly with the Global Director of Network Engineering and peer solutions engineers • Establish global fabric standards and grow the function toward a principal or staff engineer role

🎯 Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of enterprise network engineering experience with a strong focus on data center fabric design and architecture • Expert level knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, and BGP in data center underlay/overlay environments • Hands-on design and deployment experience with at least one enterprise fabric platform: Arista, Cisco ACI, NSX-T, or comparable • Deep understanding of spine-leaf architecture, DC interconnect, and multi-tenant or micro-segmentation design • Experience setting fabric standards across multi-site, multi-country environments • Strong written and spoken English • Ability to document architecture decisions and present recommendations • Ability to work autonomously across multiple time zones • Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering or related field required • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Ability to recognize and attend to important details accurately and efficiently • Ability to communicate clearly and convey necessary information • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management • Ability to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions • Strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills • Strong leadership skills and willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines • Ability to maintain social, ethical, and organizational standards • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to build effective working relationships • Ability to respond sensitively to the needs and concerns of others • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology • Advanced proficiency with relevant computer system applications • On-call availability as necessary • Some travel required • CCIE, JNCIE-DC, or Arista ACE Expert certification is nice to have, active/prior, or in pursuit • Network automation and scripting with Python or Ansible is nice to have • Familiarity with NetBox, CloudVision, or similar tooling is nice to have • Experience in distribution, warehouse, or logistics environments is nice to have
