📋 Description

• Design and architect routing and switching solutions for TD SYNNEX's global network, including campus LAN, WAN, data center interconnect, and SD-WAN edge • Serve as the global escalation point for complex routing, switching, and SD-WAN issues • Own problems, lead resolutions, and document fixes as standards • Define and maintain global network design standards, including topology templates, routing policy, QoS frameworks, VLAN strategy, and SD-WAN deployment models • Evaluate and recommend SD-WAN architecture direction, including provider selection, edge deployment models, application-aware routing, and zero-touch provisioning • Review network designs for new site build-outs, warehouse deployments, and corporate office expansions across all regions • Partner with regional network leads and engineers to align implementations with global standards • Collaborate with the India Automation & Observability engineer on network telemetry and alerting for routing and switching infrastructure • Lead cross-functional engagement on network requirements for acquisitions, new market entries, and application migrations • Present architecture recommendations to engineers and leadership • Establish global network architecture standards for TD SYNNEX's network engineering function

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15 years of enterprise network engineering experience with a strong focus on design and architecture • Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and spanning tree • Hands-on design and deployment experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela/SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, or similar • Deep understanding of enterprise LAN/WAN architecture, campus switching, redundancy design, QoS, and carrier circuit management • Experience working across a multi-site, multi-country network environment and setting standards for regional teams • Strong written and spoken English • Ability to document architecture decisions and present recommendations to engineers and leadership • Ability to operate autonomously as a global SME across multiple time zones • Bachelor's Degree with Network Engineering or related field of study required • CCIE Routing & Switching or Enterprise Infrastructure, or CCNP Enterprise at minimum preferred • Experience with data center switching and fabric architectures such as Cisco ACI and VXLAN/EVPN preferred • Familiarity with carrier and ISP relationships, circuit ordering, SLA management, and peering preferred • Exposure to network design in a global IT distribution, logistics, or e-commerce environment preferred • Experience with multi-vendor environments and vendor-agnostic solution design preferred • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, presentation, negotiation, and multicultural interpersonal skills • Ability to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level • On-call availability required as necessary • Ability to work non-standard hours or overtime as business requires • Some travel required
