📋 Description

• Understand and document trade compliance requirements to determine the needs of the business around trade compliance concerns and suggest automated solutions. • Translate business requirements into technical requirements, and work with development teams to implement custom solutions within existing applications/architectures. • Interface between business users responsible for Trade Compliance and third-party vendors that implement the solutions in their commercial solutions. • Adherence to TE Connectivity best practices and development/project management methodologies. • Support Enterprise Applications in adherence to service level agreements (examples include denied party screening, product licensing, product classification, trade compliance reporting, IMMEX processing, Free Trade Agreement qualification, etc.). • Analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation (full lifecycle) of smaller automated trade compliance solutions. • Creation of Documentation and training materials for support personnel as well as end-users of the applications.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience rolling out, configuring, and supporting Trade Compliance applications in an IT capacity • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred. • Prior experience with SAP SD Processes is preferred. • Experience with commercially available trade compliance software is preferred (OCR Ease, SAP GTS, E2Open, MIC, etc.) • Strong technical experience with technologies including Oracle SQL, XML, Integration concepts, and an object-oriented language such as Java or .NET Framework required. • Strong technical experience in configuring and installing applications in a Linux environment is preferred. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent oral and written communication. • Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects at once, while adhering to established project timeframes. • Ability to work independently with limited supervision. • Project Management experience is preferred, but not required. • Familiarity with SAP ABAP Development is preferred.
