📋 Description

• Develop and scale the backend of our Telemetry Data Management Platform, emphasizing compatibility with open technologies such as OpenTelemetry. • Architect systems that process and analyze vast amounts of machine data efficiently. • Actively participate in strategic planning and the development of technical roadmaps. • Work closely with the founders to ensure features meet customer needs and are delivered to a high standard. • Collaborate with the team to enhance integration with widely-used observability tools, ensuring robust and flexible data ingestion and analysis capabilities. • Advocate for and implement best practices in open-source software development, contributing to the open-source community where applicable. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability. • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. • Stay abreast of new technologies and techniques in backend development and observability platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Over 10 years of experience in backend development, with a strong background in handling large-scale data systems. • Expertise in programming languages like Go, Rust, Java, or Python and a proven track record in building scalable server architectures. • Experience with open-source technologies and standards, particularly OpenTelemetry, is highly desirable. • Familiarity with cloud services, microservices architectures, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
