• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, service agreements, licensing, distribution, NDAs, and joint ventures. • Provide strategic legal advice on commercial risks and ensure compliance with applicable Australian laws and regulations. • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to ensure contracts support business objectives. • Support corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations by conducting legal due diligence and preparing relevant documentation. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legislative changes in Australian commercial law. • Advise on legal implications of business decisions and commercial strategies.
• Undergraduate Law degree (LLB or equivalent) • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transactions or corporate law • Strong knowledge of Australian contract law and business regulations • Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Previous remote work experience or experience working with international teams is a plus
